What Is A Space Heater?

Feb 05, 2026|

A warm air heater is a combined unit consisting of a fan, an electric motor, and an air heater. It is suitable for various types of workshops and can be used for circulating air heating when the air is free of dust and flammable or explosive gases. Warm air heaters can be used independently for heating, generally to supplement insufficient radiator heating or to provide standby heating using radiators, with the remaining heat load handled by the heater.

It is a heating unit composed of a fan, an electric motor, and a heat exchanger. Air enters the unit through the intake port under the power of the fan, is heated as it flows through the air heat exchanger, and then flows out of the unit through the outlet, delivering air to the heated space and creating indoor air circulation. The outlet has guide vanes for adjusting the direction of the airflow.
