Introduction to high-speed fans

Mar 19, 2026|

A high-speed blower (Centrifugal blower) is a type of blower with a rotation speed of 18,000-21,000 rpm and an air volume range of 85-6,000 m³/h (three times that of traditional high-pressure blowers). It compresses and delivers air through a high-speed rotating impeller, with a pressure range of 50-290 mbar. This equipment uses ADC12 aluminum alloy die-cast components and is equipped with an ABB motor (IP55 protection rating), with power ranging from 2.2-37 kW. Applications cover electronics, chemical, and wastewater treatment fields.

Its core components feature an obtuse-angle flat conical impeller and helical blade design, integrating permanent magnet direct drive and air suspension bearing technologies, enabling frictionless operation. Some models are equipped with an intelligent frequency conversion system, supporting remote monitoring of parameters such as speed and temperature via an app. It saves more than 40% on electricity compared to traditional blowers, with an overall efficiency exceeding 95%. The product is available in belt-driven and split-type structures, supporting axial installation and operating in environments up to 200℃. The market is showing a trend towards intelligentization, and magnetic levitation/air levitation centrifugal blowers are gradually expanding their application scope.
